Dr. Hamilton earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from UCLA in 1991, completing her internship training with a child and adolescent specialty at UCLA's Neuropsychiatric Institute. She has been licensed since 1994, obtaining Oregon licensure in 2004. Clinical areas of expertise include mood disorders, eating disorders, and anxiety. Her treatment philosophy is biopsychosocial, as she works collaboratively to address multiple factors contributing to overall adaptive health and well-being. Elizabeth is also part of the clinical training faculty at George Fox University's graduate program in clinical psychology. She is married with three daughters; the family also includes three dogs, two cats, a rabbit, and a hamster.
