I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Registered Play Therapist in the State of Oregon. I earned a Master's Degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling at George Fox University. I also work at a community mental health agency. It takes a lot of courage to engage in therapy on the road to healing. I focus on clients feeling safe and heard. It is an honor to walk alongside my clients so that they feel empowered to accomplish their goals with short- or long-term therapy. I have a strong interest in working with adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families on a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, relational challenges, and multi-cultural issues. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy) to help clients process traumatic experiences. According to a client's needs, I also utilize strategies from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. I find Play Therapy helpful when working with children. I am married and have two children.
