I am a solution-focused PMHNP who uses many non-medication interventions in addition to the standard medications that you would find in any PMHNP or psychiatrist's office. While I engage in some therapy with my patients, I focus more on biological methods to address psychiatric and behavioral issues.
My ideal patient has depression, anxiety, insomnia, anger management problems, engagement in risky behavior, fatigue, traumatic brain injury or multiple concussions, schizophrenia or has psychosis for another reason. Sometimes I can be helpful in addressing dizziness, vertigo, poor memory, pain in fingertips and feet, and other neurological problems. People who want to try to use non-pharmacological methods to manage their issues are welcome.
I began my medical career as an EMT in 2006, and went to school for my RN diploma. I then graduated from Gonzaga University as a PMHNP in 2014 before starting private practice at Mid Valley Counseling in 2015.
