Dr. Palmer has been a licensed psychologist since 1986. He works with adolescents, adults and seniors. He does individual therapy, couples therapy as well as parent-teen therapy. He has a general practice of clinical psychology which includes helping people with depression, anxiety/panic, phobias, anger, grief, adjustment issues, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attention deficit disorder, as well as problems with behavior and impulse control. He serves a cross-section of people from various educational and socioeconomic backgrounds. Dr. Palmer's approach to helping his clients involves a variety of techniques depending on the individual needs. However, most of his interventions involve the application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) principles. He has a strong background in helping people who are interested in working on their psychological/emotional/relational issues within the framework of their Christian faith.
